(BRANT COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Brant County Detachment is reminding residents to be as vigilant during the daytime hours as they are when the lights go out when it comes to protecting their homes.
Police are investigating a Break and Enter after being called to a Newport Road, Brant County, Ontario address.
On Monday, August 18, 2014 in the early morning hours, unknown suspects attended the address and forcibly gained entry into a garage and hunting shed located on the property. Once inside, unknowns removed a quantity of Canadian currency and three hunting knives.
The Brant County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
