(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is reminding residents to be as vigilant during the daytime hours as they are when the lights go out when it comes to protecting their homes.
The Norfolk County OPP Detachment investigated a Break and Enter at a Highway 59, Long Point, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
Between Saturday, November 1, 2014 and Monday, November 3, 2014, unknown suspects attended Marina Shores and forcibly gained entry. Once inside, unknowns attended various areas of the building however nothing was taken.
Damage is estimated at approximately $2,300 dollars.
Police are continuing the investigation and is currently reviewing video surveillance footage. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
“The OPP have been successful in making arrests as a result of a neighbour calling when something didn’t look right in the middle of the day. If you see a suspicious vehicle or a suspicious person, we want you to call us,†comments Constable Ed Sanchuk, Norfolk County OPP Detachment.
