(CASTLETON, ON) – Sometime between 6:30 pm on Friday February 1 and 11:00 am on Saturday February 2, 204 unknown persons severely damaged a parked pickup truck at the Castleton Sports Field parking lot in Castleton, Ontario.
Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended to speak with the victim of a red 1989 GMC 1500 pick-up truck and found that it was heavily vandalized by unknown persons. All windows had been smashed, radio torn out and rear view mirror was ripped off and a hockey stick had been jammed into the grill. The owner reported that the truck’s battery, two pairs of skates and a hockey bag had been stolen. The estimated value of damage and stolen property is not available at this time.
OPP are continuing to investigate.
