OPP INVESTIGATE FIRE AT ST JOSEPHS SCHOOL

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigated an act of mischief at a Potts Road, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Sunday, October 5, 2014 at approximately 12:05 a.m., unknown suspects attended St Joseph’s school and proceeded to light a fire in the school yard. Approximately 7 youths were seen fleeing through the cemetery on bicycles and skateboards.

Police arrived on scene and located a soccer ball that had been lit on fire with other debris. The fire was extinguished by attending officers with no injuries of damage being reported.

The OPP want to remind all residents that if they see anything suspicious to please contact the police. If anyone is found committing acts of mischief, appropriate charges will be laid.
