(NORTH WEST ANGLE #33 FIRST NATION, ON) – On July 25, 2014 at approximately 6:25pm (CST) the Treaty Three Police Service responded to a call regarding a sudden death at a residence on North West Angle #33 First Nation which is approximately ten kilometres south of Sioux Narrows. When emergency personnel arrived at the residence a deceased male was located.
At the request of the Treaty Three Police Service, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) North West Region Crime Unit, under the direction of Detective Inspector Randy Heida of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) was requested to assist in this death investigation.
The victim has been identified as 46-year-old Paul Edward MUCKLE (PAUL) from North West Angle #33 First Nation. A post mortem examination took place in Kenora on July 28, 2014. Foul play is not suspected at this time.
The investigation is continuing.
