(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On March 20, 2014 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a two vehicle collision involving a school bus on Waite Road near Highway 35.
At approximately 8:20 a.m. an OPP officer was dispatched to the accident. Initial investigation indicated that a Pontiac GTP travelling east bound lost control on the ice covered roadway causing it to side swipe a west bound school bus.
At the time of the collision there were three youths on the bus. There were no injuries. No charges are expected as the road and weather conditions were poor at the time of the incident.
