(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On January 15, 2014 at approximately 4:00 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding an armed robbery at the Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy located on Geddes Street in the Village of Elora.
On January 22, 2014, at approximately 7:25 p.m., Wellington County OPP Crime Unit and patrol officers, Western Region Support Team and West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant at an apartment on Geddes Street, Elora. A quantity of drugs and three replica handguns (BB) were seized.
Joshua BEHLING age 27 of Fergus is charged with Robbery Using a Firearm contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He will have a Bail Hearing in Guelph on January 23, 2014.
