OPP INVESTIGATE A SERIOUS COLLISION ON HIGHWAY 6

(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) -On March 21, 2014 at approximately 4:36 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a serious collision involving two motor vehicles on Highway 6 South between Leslie Road and Flamborough-Puslinch Townline Road, Puslinch Township.

Puslinch Fire and Rescue, Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Ornge Air Ambulance Services were also in attendance.

A south bound Pontiac collided with a northbound Lexus. The male driver of the Pontiac was transported by Air Ambulance to a Hamilton Hospital with serious injuries and the male passenger was transported to a Hamilton hospital by ambulance also with serious injuries. The male driver of the Lexus was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with unknown injuries. The names of the occupants will not be released at this time.

Wellington County OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) are continuing with the investigation.

The road will be closed for further investigation.
