(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment is investigating a two vehicle collision involving an OPP cruiser that occurred at a Rainham Road, South Cayuga, Haldimand County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday May 15, 2018 at 4:40 p.m., an OPP officer was travelling east bound on Rainham Road in a fully marked OPP cruiser when, a vehicle travelling south bound on Haldimand Road 50 proceeded into the intersection and the two vehicles collided
The officer sustained minor injuries in the collision and was treated at the scene by Haldimand County paramedics.
The driver of the other vehicle involved was not injured.
Haldimand Road 50 between Lakeshore Road and Sutor Road is currently closed while investigators are on scene.
OPP continue to investigate.
