(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BAY, ON) – The members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Bracebridge detachment have charged a male after attending a structure fire on the weekend.
On November 30, 2013 at approximately 8:30 pm the OPP and the Township of Georgian Bay Fire Department attended a structure fire on Bear Island, in Georgian Bay Township. An out building near a cottage had been burned down and the cottage had been broken into. A male was observed running away from first responders and getting into a rowboat.
After further investigation by the OPP the male was arrested and charged in relation to the incident.
The male was identified as Scott CHANDLER a 43-year-old male of Flamborough Township. He has been charged with

There was no one injured in this incident.
The male was held in custody and attended Bracebridge court December 2, 2013.
