(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 30, 2014 at approximately 12:35 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to a restaurant in Fergus. Two males had a meal and left without paying the bill. The owner of the restaurant confronted the customers and an altercation took place. Police arrested two males and during the search, suspected marijuana was located on one male.
Andre CYR age 18 of Centre Wellington Township has been charged with Food and Lodging Fraud and Assault contrary to the Criminal Code. He is also charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on October 14, 2014 to answer to the charges.
Morgan FRANCIS age 18 of Centre Wellington Township has been charged with Food and Lodging Fraud contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on October 14, 2014 to answer the charge.
