(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated an incident after being called to a West Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Monday, October 20, 2014 at approximately 8:46 p.m., a resident was travelling in their vehicle eastbound along West Street, when and unknown male dressed in dark coloured clothing jumped in front of their vehicle.
This action startled the driver however they were to safely stop their motor vehicle without being involved in a collision and subsequently contacted police.
“Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation. This is a very dangerous act that had the potential to cause a serious motor vehicle collision that could have resulted in an injury or fatality. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122,†comments Constable Ed Sanchuk, Norfolk County OPP.
