The Property Crimes Unit is investigating a spree of thefts from Barrie residences that are believed to have taken place during recent real estate open houses. Investigators believe that beginning around the 19th of October 2013 several thefts have taken place and it is likely that many of the victims may still be unaware. Persons who have had “open houses†during this time period are urged to contact police should they believe that they are the victim of a theft.
A forty-three year old Barrie man is currently being sought in relation to the offences.
