On December 16, 2015, at 7:25 a.m. Kitchener Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at 812 King Street, West, Kitchener. Upon arrival the fire department observed flames in one of the units. After the fire was extinguished an adult male was located deceased inside the apartment. Next of kin notifications are being conducted. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation and being continued by the Ontario Fire Marshalls Office.
