(CHIPPEWAS OF THE THAMES FIRST NATION, ON) – On May 8, 2015 at approximately 3:55 a.m. members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated a traffic stop on Chippewa Road.
It was determined that the driver of the Nissan car had been drinking alcohol. The female was placed under arrest, and transported to a local police detachment for breath testing.
As a result of the investigation, Olivia KECHEGO, age 39, from Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Ontario, has been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear, and is scheduled to answer to the charges in a London court on June 19, 2015.
