(ELGIN COUNTY, ON) -Members of the Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the eastbound lanes of the 401 Highway at 9:05 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9 to a collision involving an OPP cruiser and transport truck.
Investigation revealed that the officer was attempting to make a lane change when his cruiser clipped a transport truck traveling eastbound in an adjacent lane. Neither of the drivers was injured and there was minor damage to both vehicles.
As a result of the investigation, the OPP have issued a Provincial Offence Notice to Sergeant Allan GORDON, a 27 year member, based out of the Elgin County OPP with Lane Change Not In Safety.
