(LEEDS, ON) – Officers of the Rideau Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested an impaired driver following a fail to remain motor vehicle collision.
On June 21, 2018 at approximately 5:44 pm an off duty police officer witnessed a two vehicle collision on Old Kingston Road, with one vehicle fleeing the scene. The vehicle was located by police and investigation revealed the driver to be impaired by alcohol.
67 year old Douglas OFFICER of South Elmsley Township is charged with Impaired Driving and Driving with More Than 80 Mgs of Alcohol in his Blood.
The accused is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Provincial Division in Brockville on Friday July 13, 2018.
