North Huron Gets Ombudsman Stamp Of Approval According To brock vodden Apparent Area Spokesperson For Ombudsman Office

North Huron Councilor brock vodden is apparently the area spokesperson for the Ontario Ombudsman Office, more than likely self appointed. 23Jan2016 brock vodden broadcast on Facebook the following “the Ombudsman Office thinks North Huron is being well managed. Main street is all rebuillt and very attractive.”

Well, there you have it. The Ontario Ombudsman Office has apparently given North Huron their stamp of approval. Our 100,000+ readers/month now know how low the bar has been set, apparently at every level of government in Ontario. Anybody know what happens to society when the Citizenry loses all respect for the last remaining Moral Authority in a burgeoning police state where the police drive around with tinted windows and refuse to identify themselves or release body cam videos to victims? Heil Vincent and his impending fourth reich!

How bad do things have to get before we lose the Ontario Ombudsman’s stamp of approval? Did we get that stamp before or after the stop light fell on Josephine Street? If it was before, we have an issue. If it was after, why didn’t they recommend preventative maintenance on the other two that are ready to fall?

It’s obvious the Ontario Ombudsman was not given an impartial tour of North Huron. There are way too many obvious infrastructure issues for that to be true, such as leaky roofs, leaky dam, closed road, obstructed stop signs, closed pool during summer weekends, potholes that won’t get filled until photos go online, fire hydrants under snow with no id poles, missing fire suppression system at town hall, children walking in traffic to get to school, we literally have a D- infrastructure report card, etc. etc. etc.

So, maybe the Ontario Ombudsman’s stamp of approval was based on financial data instead. I fail to see how that could be possible as we have the highest tax rate anyone can find online, overpay for policing, they have admitted gross errors in North Huron’s accounting, and we have a massive infrastructure deficit with absolutely no plan on how to address it.

Hey, who cares, we got stamp of approval anyway! I hope it’s not on glossy paper, that way it still has value as toilet paper.
