(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment Auxiliary Unit have partnered with Simcoe Scotiabank for this year’s food / toy drive.
The Norfolk County OPP Auxiliary Unit and members of Scotiabank will be at various grocery stores looking for the community’s assistance in providing a family with a meal and a gift to a child so that everyone has a happy holiday season.
Last year the Auxiliary Unit was able to raise approximately 7123 lbs of food that was distributed to local area food banks. This year the OPP Auxiliary Unit and Scotiabank are looking to surpass those numbers so that everyone, especially a child waking up on Christmas morning has a present to open.
Through this partnership, members of the Auxiliary Unit and Scotiabank will branch out of Simcoe to other local grocery stores throughout Norfolk County. If you see these members in our community in front of local grocery stores, please realize that your donation could change someone’s life.
The following is a list of locations where you will find members of the OPP Auxiliary Unit and Scotiabank partners.
