North Huron council spokesperson has stated on Facebook that “non-breakable barriers” are now illegal, and that was the goal of the recent Hometown Security Act (10-2016). Below is a quote from North Huron Council spokesperson vodden.
North Huron council: The goal of the recent by-law is to make it illegal for people to create non-breakable barriers to their property which would prevent fire services, police, and EMS personnel to enter the property in an emergency situation.
Simply put, if your doors can keep people out they may no longer be legal. Hopefully Meth-head child rapists and PICK degenerates don’t find out about this. So, if a home invading rapist can’t break your door down, can they call town hall to force you to remove it? Who pays to fix your property when town staff kick your door in when they test to see if it is breakable or not. Is that how they will test everyone’s doors? Does town staff have to notify you when they come by for the door-kick test to see if it is non-breakable? What would be the appropriate reaction if town staff kicked your door in because you put up security cameras and they thought you were up to “this and that”?
WFP is bewildered why council has apparently appointed brock vodden for their media relations rep, and if they are paying per insult he dishes out to the Public, if so he must be saving up for a yacht.
