(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On January 17, 2017, at approximately 12:02 a.m., the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an erratic driver travelling westbound on Highway 401.
West of Putnam Road, officers conducted a traffic stop of the motor vehicle, a blue Dodge pickup truck. The 23-year-old male driver was placed under arrest for impaired driving, and transported to an OPP detachment for testing.
As a result of the police investigation, Nicolas TSELIOS, from Norfolk County, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (drug), contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charge in a Woodstock, Ontario, court on February 28, 2017.
