(CENTRE WELLINGTON TWP, ON) – On Thursday October 3, 2013 at approximately 5:03 pm Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. program on Wellington County Road 19, near 2nd Line, Centre Wellington Township. The driver of a 2005 GMC pickup truck entered into the checkpoint. During the investigation, police located a small quantity of marihuana.
Neil MCCOAG of age 29 of Guelph has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 grams, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on November 15, 2013 to answer to the charges.
