(CITY OF KINGSTON) – The male involved in a motor vehicle collision and then attempting to cross the 401 has been identified as 37 year old William RUNHAM from Belleville,Ontario.
On 19th of February 2016, at approximately 7:00pm, Frontenac OPP was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 401 westbound between Joyceville Road and John F Scott Road in the City of Kingston.
Investigation revealed that a grey car involved in the collision hit the center concrete median. The driver exited his vehicle and was proceeding to cross the 401 westbound lanes when he was struck by other westbound vehicles.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) attended the scene. The Highway was re-opened at 12:30a.m on 20th February 2016.
