(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – Members of the County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a single vehicle motor vehicle collision on Powerline Road east of Bethel Church Road in the County of Brant at approximately 7:00 p.m. on 14 February 2016.
OPP members along with County of Brant Fire and County of Brant Ambulance service attended the scene and located a single vehicle collision. The sole occupant of the gold 2006 Jeep Commander was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver has been identified as 43-year-old Jeffery STURGEON of Oxford County.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) were deployed to the scene to assist with the investigation.
Powerline Road east of Bethel Church Road in the County of Brant was closed until approximately 1:30 p.m. for the investigation.
