On Monday September 29, 2014 at approximately 4:40 pm Emergency Services were called to the intersection of Kossuth Rd and Speedsville Rd, Cambridge in response to a collision between a motorcycle and a pick-up truck. A 23 year old Cambridge man was driving his pick-up truck westbound on Kossuth Rd., and making a left turn onto Speedsville Rd. At this time he observed a motorcycle, which was being driven by a 32 year old Guelph man, in the opposite direction. Efforts to avoid the collision were unsuccessful, and the motorcycle was struck causing it to leave the roadway. The driver of the motorcycle was airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital where he remains in critical condition. Police investigation continues at this time.
