At approximately 7:15am on Wednesday morning a 25 year old female was driving eastbound on Mapleton Avenue near the intersection of Marscellus Drive. At this time the women struck a parked car on Mapleton Avenue. She exited her vehicle to inspect the damage. Seconds later another eastbound vehicle struck the rear of the women’s vehicle which in turn struck the women. The women was taken to the hospital with soft tissue injuries to her legs. The 25 year old female driver in the first accident was charged with careless driving, while the 19 year old female driver involved in the second accident was also charged with careless driving.
