On Wednesday February 19 2014 at approx 6:29pm, a 65 yr old woman was crossing King St North at Dupont St West in Waterloo when she was struck by a northbound motor vehicle and then fell into the path of a southbound vehicle. The woman sustained cuts and bruising along with a broken arm. The northbound vehicle failed to remain at the scene of the collision and police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a dark red car and the driver. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Traffic Branch at 519 650 8550 ext 8856 or email [email protected] On February 23 2014 Waterloo Regional Police charged a 22 yr old Kitchener woman with fail to remain in this incident.
