(ESPANOLA, ON)- On August 13, 2016, at approximately 11:50 p.m., members from the Espanola Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated a traffic stop on Highway 17, in the township of Baldwin.
As a result of the investigation, it was found that the male driver was disqualified from driving.
Murray FAIRFAX, 48 years of age, from Green Field Park, Quebec, was arrested and charged with the following: Driving while disqualified – court order, contrary to section 259(4) of the Criminal Code.
The vehicle the accused was operating was towed and impounded for 45 days under the Vehicle Impoundment Program (VIP).
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola, on October 3, 2016.
