(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On Monday June 20th, 2016, at 8:00am officers from the Ontario Provincial Police, Quinte West detachment were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision involving a school bus on County Road 5, just east of Stockdale Road.
At approximately 8:00am a collision occurred between a school bus, another motor vehicle, and two parked vehicles on County Road 5. There were no students on the school bus. One of the drivers has been transported to hospital with unknown injuries.
Emergency crews remain on scene and County Road 5 is closed at this time east of Stockdale Road. Traffic detours have been set up. The road will be closed for approximately two hours.
The investigation is continuing, and further details will be released as they become available.
