(LAKESHORE ON) – Members of the Lakeshore Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the Essex County OPP Crime Unit are searching for 3 males following an incident early July 26, 2015 in Lakeshore.
The victim, a 21 year old Lakeshore man had just left the tent at the Sunsplash Festival in Lakeshore sometime after 1:30 a.m. with three other young men that he had just met. He went to a convenience store and after purchasing some cigarettes was sitting with the other three males in the park when one of the males grabbed his wallet which contained cash, and fled.
The victim chased him and when he caught up with the suspect was struck several times in the face causing him to fall to the ground where the other two males repeatedly kicked him. One of the males took his cell phone. All three suspects fled the scene on foot. The victim suffered minor injuries.
The three suspects are described as follows –
– 1st male – Caucasian, approximately 19 years of age, 5’8” – 6’0”, medium build, black or brown hair.
– 2nd male – Caucasian, approximately 17 years of age, skinny build, acne complexion, shaved head.
– 3rd male – Caucasian, approximately 17 years of age, pierced lower lip, longer hair.
