(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On Friday, May 8, 2015 at approximately 3:24 p.m., a member of the Mount Forest Traffic Management and RIDE Unit of the Highway Safety Division stopped the operator of a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle on Southgate Sideroad 11 in the Township of Southgate after learning that the licence plate was not registered for that particular vehicle. Further investigation revealed other infractions committed.
Shaun E. ARMSTRONG, age 43, of East Garafraxa Township was charged with driving a motor vehicle without a proper licence and using a plate not authorized for vehicle under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA). He was also charged with operating a motor vehicle without insurance under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act (CAIA).
A court date of June 15, 2015 has been set in Owen Sound.
