(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), County of Brant detachment is currently investigating a fatal single motor vehicle collision on Ellis Avenue between Highway 24 and Pleasant Ridge Road.
On Sunday April 27th, 2014 shortly before 7:00 p.m. a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by a County of Brant man, was west bound on Ellis Avenue and left the roadway for unknown reasons. Kenneth RATTIE 51 years of age from the County of Brant, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by Coroner, Doctor Porter.
West Region OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are assisting the County of Brant OPP with the investigation.
Ellis Avenue between Mount Pleasant Road and Highway 24 was closed for several hours for the investigation.
