(Bonnechere Valley Township, ON) Provincial Constable Jeff MacLeod is investigating a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Bridge Street, Eganville on September 10, 2013 at approximately 12:25pm. John Lethie, 56 years of age of Eganville was operating a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu when he struck a 68 year old female of Cobden. The female was transported to Pembroke Hospital. LETHIE was charged with Section 140.1(a) of the Highway Traffic Act – Fail to Yield to Pedestrian.
(North Algona Wilberforce Township, ON) Provincial Constable Brad Zandstra is investigating a single motor vehicle collision that occurred on September 12, 2013 at approximately 4:30pm on Highway 60 in Deacon. William Flegg, 56 years of age of Killaloe Hagarty Richards Township was operating a 2004 Ford when his vehicle left the roadway. FLEGG was charged with Drive while under suspension contrary to section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act and Careless Driving contrary to section 130 of the Highway Traffic Act. Flegg was transported to St. Francis Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
