(ESSA, ON)- The Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a motor vehicle collision on January 8, 2104 at 1:13pm on the 10th Line.
When Officers arrived on scene, they spoke to the male driver but the driver refused to identify himself to Police. The male was arrested for failing to identify himself under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
During the course of the investigation, Officers determined that the male walked to a neighbouring home and got into an altercation with the property owners and made some threats toward them.
Charged is 26 year old Bennett MOORE of York, Ontario he is charged with Resist Peace Officer, Theft under $5000 and Uttering threats to cause bodily harm, under the Criminal Code of Canada. He will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on February 13, 2014 to answer to these charges.
