Members of the London Police Service are currently investigating a single motor vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 12:13 pm on Proudfoot Lane. A red SUV was travelling south bound when it left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver, a 75-year-old male, was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The female passenger was uninjured. The cause of the collision and the cause of death are still under investigation. Proudfoot Lane will be closed between Farrah Road and Horizon Drive for several hours as members of the Traffic Management Unit conduct their investigation.
