(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On January 20th, 2014 at approximately 4:45 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Clearview Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedic Service responded to a motor vehicle collision (MVC) on County Road #42 just north of County Road #9 involving 2 motor vehicles.
An initial investigation by OPP revealed that a southbound motor vehicle attempted to perform a “U-turn†and was struck by another southbound motor vehicle.
Both drivers from both vehicles were transported to Collingwood General and Marine Hospital with minor injuries.
A 43 year old female from Wasaga Beach has been charged by OPP with “U-turn near crest or grade – no clear viewâ€Â.
