On July 26, 2014 at 10:12 p.m., the Guelph Police went to the area of Imperial Road North and Westwood Road for the report of a cyclist struck by a vehicle. It is alleged that the cyclist was riding north-bound on Imperial and the vehicle was making a right hand turn from Westwood when the collision occurred. A 55 year old Guelph female cyclist was taken to the Guelph General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The collision is still under investigation.
