(Oro-Medonte, ON) – members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Barrie Detachment investigated a motor vehicle collision which occurred between April 19-20 2014 on Lakeview Drive in Oro-Medonte Twp.
During that time a 2007 Chevy Silverado parked on Lakeview Drive in Oro-Medonte was struck sometime overnight. The driver left the scene without stopping despite damage to her vehicle.
A thorough investigation into the collision resulted in 18 year old Holly TERELLY-DAVIDSON of Orillia being charged with Fail to Stop Criminal Code – Avoid civil liability and Obstruct Police. She is scheduled to appear in Provincial Offences Court in Barrie on June 9th, 2014 at 9:00am
The driver’s mother Kristin TERELLY 45 years of age from Orillia is charged with 2 counts of Obstruct police – after having the vehicle destroyed/scrapped to avoid police finding it.
Several Highway Traffic Act charges are also pending against these two individuals.
No injuries were reported.
