(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Nottawasaga Detachment Street Crime Unit, arrested 3 additional males in relation to thefts from motor vehicles. These thefts took place in the Alliston and Tottenham areas during the early morning hours of August 14 and August 15, 2015.
As a result of police investigations, a total of 4 males have been arrested and charged. Charged is Liam HIGGINS, age 19 from Adjala-Tosorontio Township and the names of the three additional males arrested cannot be released in accordance with provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
The males have been charged with Theft from Motor Vehicles, Possession of Stolen Property and Trespassing by Night. HIGGINS will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, located in Bradford at a later date and the three accused youths will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, located in Barrie at later dates.
