(Bancroft, Ontario) – At approximately 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday the 04th of November 2014, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received the report of a missing hunter from a camp located on Woodhaven Road in Limerick Township. The 57 year old male from Courtice, Ontario had not been seen by camp members since the morning.
The Bancroft OPP, OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) of Trenton conducted a search of the area. The male was located at approximately 2:20 a.m. on the 05th of November by the JRCC in good health.
