(CHAPLEAU, ON) – Chapleau Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is requesting the public’s assistance to locate Chapleau resident Alain BOUILLON, 54 years of age, who’s boat was located around 10:00 p.m. on August 7, 2015 in the area of 18 Mile Rapids on the Chapleau River. The vessel is described as a red, 14 foot, aluminum boat that had an 8 horsepower motor. No one was in the boat when it was located. He was last seen the day before in the same area on the river.
He is a white male, described as being approximately five foot two inches tall and weighing around 160 lbs. He has long, straight brown hair, and a short brown beard and moustache. His clothing descriptors are unknown at this time.
North East Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) members, North East Region Canine and the OPP Helicopter have all been called in to assist with the investigation.
