Minivan Stolen Near Listowel Giant Tiger While Owner Shopping – Plate Number: BVPE878

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) – On Wednesday July 20, 2016, shortly after 2 p.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to Wellington Ave North in Listowel where a minivan had been stolen.

Investigation revealed that around 1:30 p.m., the owner of a Chevrolet Uplander minivan parked the vehicle along Wellington Ave North near the Giant Tiger. The owner left the unlocked vehicle with the key in the ignition parked along the street while shopping. Shortly after 2 p.m. the owner returned to the location where the vehicle had been parked and discovered it was gone.

Police investigation determined that around 1:50 p.m. the van had been observed driving southbound on Wellington Ave. South.
