(PEMBROKE, ON) – In the early morning hours of November 22, 2015 officers from the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on patrol on Bruham Avenue in Laurentian Valley Township when they observed a suspicious male on foot. The adult male was found to be in possession of drugs and in breach of his undertaking. As a result 18 year old Michael Thomas MCCALLUM of Laurentian Valley Township was charged with the following Criminal Code offence:
· Failing to Comply with Undertaking
He was also charged with the following Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) offence:
· Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana
He was held for a bail hearing on November 22, 2015 and subsequently released on a Recognizance of Bail with a court date of December 1, 2015 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke.
