(TOWN OF PALMERSTON, ON) – On December 28, 2013 at approximately 7:47 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a call regarding an intoxicated male that entered an unlocked residence and startled the homeowner on Main Street in the Town of Palmerston. Further information was received that the same male jumped on a witness’s truck bumper and then entered a nearby church and disrupted a funeral service.
Police located the male outside the church and placed him under arrest for cause a disturbance as he was continuing to rant and attempted to walk into oncoming traffic. Police searched the male and discovered that he was in possession of methamphetamine.
Michael Seiler aged 28 of Minto Township has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on February 14, 2014 to answer to the charge.
