(CHATHAM, ON) On June 23, 2018, around 11:45 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 40 near Fairview Line.
While speaking with the driver, the officer determined the driver had consumed alcohol. The driver was transported to detachment for further tests.
Upon further investigation, the male driver, Michael MAYNARD, 25-years-old of Chatham, Ontario, was charged with drive motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused is required to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on July 17, 2018 to answer to the charge.
