(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment has charged a 37-year-old male after investigating thefts of prescription medications from a pharmacy on Broad Street East, Dunnville, Haldimand County, Ontario.
On Monday January 16, 2017 at 11:18 a.m., OPP responded to Hauser’s Pharmacy for a report of thefts of prescription medications.
OPP investigation has determined that the male suspect attended the pharmacy on multiple occasions and removed prescription medications before exiting the business.
Through the course of investigation, OPP identified the male suspect.
OPP located and arrested the male suspect without incident on Tuesday January 17, 2017.
OPP has charged 37-year-old Michael LOVEGROVE of Dunnville, Ontario with:
Four counts of theft under $5,000.00
Three counts of possession of a schedule I substance, and
Eight counts of failing to comply with probation orders.
He was held for a bail hearing in Provincial Court Cayuga.
