(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment investigated an incident after being called to a Sydenham Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Saturday, May 30, 2015 at approximately 3:42 p.m., police were contacted by a concerned employee of Boyko Source for Sports after a male entered the store.
Through investigation it was determined that an unknown male entered the store at approximately 1:08 p.m., and then stopped at a clothing display. The male then engaged in an indecent act however was interrupted by store employees. The male immediately left the store in an unknown direction on a dark coloured bicycle.
The suspect is described as a male, white, 20-30 years of age, 5’8 -5’10, with tattoos on neck, hands and fingers, with a goatee. The suspect was wearing a dark coloured baseball cap, dark zippered sweater, Big Bang Theory t-shirt (Bazinga), camouflage shorts and bright red coloured shoes.
On Thursday, June 4, 2015 at approximately 12:31p.m., police arrested and charged 36 year old Michael John MEAD of Norfolk County, Ontario with indecent act.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.
