(Douro Dummer Township, ON) – On Saturday October 20, 2013 at approximately 7:25 pm officers from Peterborough County OPP were conducting Radar enforcement upon Highway 28 in Douro Dummer, when they had to occasion to stop a dodge pickup truck being operated at a high rate of speed.
Officers patrolling Highway 28 stopped a black Dodge pick-up truck for speeding and upon further investigation formed the grounds to believe that the driver had been consuming alcohol.
Further investigation was conducted and as a result the driver 33 year old Michael HOLLANDY of Peterborough has been charged with Having over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood, Speeding and Having Liquor readily available in a vehicle.
HOLLANDY was released from custody with a future court date set in Peterborough Provincial Courts for 28 November 2013.
