(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) – The Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a possible impaired driver on Queen Street on June 26, 2015 at approximately 8:03 p.m.
A 50 year old male driver had been operating a black Ford pickup truck in a parking lot and was involved in a collision with a blue Toyota SUV.
Officers determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol. He was arrested and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing.
As a result of the investigation, Michael DANN, from Lambton Shores, Ontario, has been charged with fail or refuse to provide sample 254(3) alcohol/blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear, and is scheduled to answer to the charge in a London court on July 28, 2015.
