(PETAWAWA, ON) – On April 21, 2016 members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the OPP’s Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Emergency Response Team (ERT), Tactical Response Unit (TRU), Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit (PWEU) and Canine Unit executed a Criminal Code (CC) search warrant and a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence in the Town of Petawawa.
As a result 25 year old Kaylie Dawn LEAHY and 25 year old Erric VOISIN, both of Petawawa, are both facing the following CDSA and CC charges:
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamines
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Morphine
Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Hydromorphone
Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
Both were held for a bail hearing and they are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on April 25, 2016.
